Jan Findlay

American Songbook Jazz

Jan's a lifelong Jersey girl. Now her band is comprised of Tomoko Ohno on piano, John Zweig on guitar, and Rick Crane on bass. All are New Jerseyans who are well-established and highly regarded musicians in the New York-New Jersey jazz community and beyond. Together they find their joy in performing "The Great American Songbook" and a variety of jazz and blues selections. It's all about sharing music with each other and the audience. It's about friendship. It's about fun. It's about the music.

Dana Gaynor Band

21st century jam band

The Dana Gaynor Band (DGB) is lead by guitarist, producer, singer/songwriter Dana Gaynor, and her partner in crime, bassist, singer/songwriter Tony "T-Bone" Mancino. Frank Zelasny ("Frankie Z"), drummer, singer/songwriter, provides a solid foundation for this adventurous band. DGB is a three-piece jam band with roots in a variety of musical genres including blues, rock, funk, jazz, and psychedelic.
The free form nature of each performance is a "Tapers' delight".

Audrey Silver Quartet

Pure organic soulful jazz

udrey Silver is one of the most elegantly creative singers in jazz today. Known for her smooth, effortless sound, sensitive interpretations, satisfying swing, Audrey sings with a style that radiates her warm, generous personality, Jazztimes' Christopher Loudon writes, "...her voice is like pure sterling. Her phrasing is exquisite, her clarity and enunciation on par with the great Jo Stafford and her breath control—a talent so often, and so wrongfully, overlooked—rivals Sinatra's."

Geoff Achison & The Soul Diggers

Mesmerizing guitar blues

A jaw dropping, crowd pleasing guitar virtuoso, Geoff Achison invokes the spirit of the great blues & soul artists to create his original sound. Geoff began playing music in his father's dance band at the age of 13. He switched to bass at 15 playing mostly jazz but eventually discovering an affinity for American blues music. Inspired by the likes of Freddie King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck, Geoff honed his guitar skills searching for his own unique voice via the blues.

Joe Benjamin & A Mighty Handful

Big Band Jazz

Originally hailing from Germany, Joe Benjamin is a New York-based vocalist, composer and bandleader. He is currently at the helm of "Joe Benjamin and A Mighty Handful", a genre-bending 11-piece big band with whom he has gained a devoted following in New York City, and toured throughout Europe to sold-out concert halls.

Trudy Lynn Blues Review featuring Steve Krase

Blues with a Soul Twist

Sometimes called Houston's "First Lady of the Blues" or "First Lady of Soul," the dynamic Trudy Lynn was still in her teens when she sang onstage with "Iceman" Albert Collins's band and opened for Ike & Tina Turner. Even so, her recent success has arguably put the sixtysomething singer in the prime of her career!
