 JSJBF Youth Project Band

Big Band Jazz

Because of the diversity of age and level of playing ability, the more knowledgeable and proficient student players can mentor the younger students or less accomplished. This aspect of the program enables them to share with each other what they have learned and experienced, bringing their own individual style into the mix to make this music last.

 The Gina Fox Band

Sultry Jazz and Intimate Blues

Her range of influences stretch from the jazz of Etta Jones and Sarah Vaughan, to the blues of Charles Brown and Wynona Carr, and beyond. She is at home with smoky, late-night jazz numbers, then just as comfortable with her original blues. Equally proficient at Jazz and Blues, for Gina, singing is personal... very PERSONAL!
